Welcome everyone on the Prize Giving ceremonies for The celebration week of SL-Newspaper.
Thru the week we had a few contests and a lot of parties.
Tonight we will let you all know who has won the building contest and who has won the Fashion design contest.

Good Evening Ladies and Gentleman. One of the events as part of the SL-Newspaper Celebration was a photo contest sponsored by Skybeam Estates. The theme for this photo contest was Celebration and could be taken anywhere on the Estates.
We had 13 wonderful entries and the judges had a very difficult time this morning choosing the winners. I would like to now announce those winners and award the prizes.

Blarion’s party was a surprise, planned by Aikun Neiro and Gwyendalin Gausman (real life daughter and mother). Aikun invited him over to their beach island on Fearly while the rest of us hid, then we rushed forward, “Happy Birthday Blarion!” After his, “Aw, gee ...” We all sat down for a fairly relaxed celebration. There was a little funning around, notably when one guy insisted on sitting on the hot grill, inspiring crack jokes if hot dogs came with “warm buns.”
On Labor Day weekend, two notable people had their parties, one birthday, and one rezzday. Pooky Amsterdam’s birthday was on Saturday September the 5th, and so she invited a number of friends and media audience regulars to a place. Hopping over, what we saw was a smaller version of her “The 1st Question” game show set. Among the people there was Chantel Harvey, a Machinima director, as were others on Pooky’s staff such as Kat2 Kit and Geo Meek.
On Sunday September the 6th, Tygeria Mirabeau gave her best friend Amythe Moonlight a surprise rezzday party. Live entertainment was part of the event, Lyn Carlberg and Taunter Goodnight. She sent regulars to the Heart of Mystery riverboat club notecards with the time of the party, and asking them not to tell Amy before the party, “For four years in SL, my Amy has been very wise, or foolish to not run away screaming. To me, she has been my guide and help, my teacher and my dearest friend.”
Last night saw the end of a week of celebrations, parties every night from some amazing DJ's; Dakota Christensen, BCreative Wilde and our own amazing Qwark Allen and to end it all a live concert from Labgraal, more pictures can be seen in the EVENTS section.

The second anniversary feels so different from the first and I actually don't know why.
The questions he asked James were quite an insight to me of how SL is percieved by the 'outside world':

JamesT Juno: yes - we do , but most will be an informing task - let people know whats going on, SL is a series of islands and most other virtual worlds are the same, finding everything that is going on is not an easy thing to do therefore, people will always need a central point to get information.

With much excitement and anticipation, Silelf Fisseux and Ligeia Westwick the owners and operators of the Zurich City Opera House in Second Life are announcing their plans for the 13th of November celebration, marking the first anniversary of this venerable venue. The recently moved and restored Opera House is an interpretation of the Zurich Opera House in real life Zurich, converted to second life.

WOW what a great group of people there were this year and before everything gets returned a good way to say goodbye for another year. 
Dominating the skyline in a corner of SL5B you may see this huge structure and wonder what it's all about. On closer inspection it is awesome. When you get close enough (if you ever manage to rezz) the sign explains what this exhibit is all about: 
Apparently there have been instances of nipples being either removed or a request has been put in for them to be covered so when i saw this I was quite shocked!
