'Why I Relay'

Artistic Fimicoloud Memorial Dance

It has been two years since Second Life resident Artistic Fimicoloud, Fimi as she became affectionately known, passed away from cancer. In real life, she was Stephanie Koslow, an artist whom did a number of pictures whose work can be seen in the Metaverse to this day, in both an art gallery and private homes. Battling the illness for years, the woman behind the pink fox avatar kept up to the end. She was 49. A member of the Sunweavers and Passionate Redheads, she remains fondly remembered by both.

A year ago, the anniversary of her passing was marked with a candlelight service. Recently, a number of people in both the Sunweavers and Passionate Redheads have had family members pass away. So instead of a solemn service, it was decided to hold a memorial dance in her honor. The event was held in the Southern Colorado sim near what is now known as Fimi Falls, land owner and Passionate Redhead organizer Daaneth Kivioq explained, “I only met Fimi a few times, but I was abel to show her this place, and she fell in love with it - so I dedicated the falls to her memory.”

Come join us on Wednesday, May 26th at 6PM for a wonderful live music event
Celebrating the Life & Art of Artistic Fimicoloud. The event will be held by Fimi Falls
in the beautiful Southern Colorado Sim. There will be Music, Dancing and Fireworks!

At the beginning of the event, there was a snag when the musician for the first hour was unable to show op. So Shockwave Yarearch took over, offering a mix of songs, including “Smurfer Girl” and a few other parodies, “Fimi loved my little silly songs.” No formal wear was required. “Come as you are,” Daaneth told people, normal human and furred, dropping in, “I’m wearing T-shirt and jeans.” One lady dropping in had been absent from Second Life for months, her computer busted and then busy with college.

“Relay for Life in Second Life
Celebrate
Remember
Fight Back!
GO RELAY”

Throughout the event, people talked about Fimi, her art, and her life. A Relay for Life kiosk collected donations as they came in. At 7 PM, Shockwave stepped down and Vaughan Michalak stepped in with live music. At one point, Daaneth handed the crowd a challenge, “Fimi spent many years fighting cancer before she lost her battle - as a result, she often hid pink cancer awareness ribbons in her paintings - now a few of you know where it is already - but there is one hidden near here too - can you find it?” Several people spotted the hidden ribbon.

At 8 PM SL time, DJ Nydia Tungsten began spinning her mix of tunes. During this time, there was a fireworks show, the sparkle of lights exploding all around. One sparkle of lights didn’t fade, but kept going, changing color, occasionally appearing as pink as Fimi. Eventually, the end of the event approached, and Nydia put on her last son, “I Run For Life.”

As the event closed, Daaneth thanked Nydia and everyone who came, “You are all my heroes! thank you for being here tonight! ... FOR FIMI!! Thank you Nydia! And thank all of you for your support and generosity!”

Over 34,000 Lindens had been raised during the event for Relay for Life.

I run for hope, I run to feel,
I run for the truth for all that is real.
I run for your mother, your sister, your wife.
I run for you and me my friend, I run for life.

Relay for Life’s “Fantasy Faire”

* * Fantasy Faire 2010, April 19 - 25th * *

Proudly brought to you by
Friends Fighting Cancer.
Strong together!
Making wishes come true!

From Monday April 19th to Sunday 25th 2010, thousands of Second Life residents and creators are coming together to support the American Cancer Society’s vision of a world without cancer. Friends Fighting Cancer (FFC) have transformed nine sims of Second Life into a fantasy wonderland: the Fantasy Faire 2010 to benefit Relay for Life of Second Life (RFL of SL).

The Fantasy Faire 2010 is the largest gathering of fantasy designers, enthusiasts, roleplayers, and performers in the virtual world. A week of commerce, special events, live musical concerts, exclusive items auctions, RFL ribbon hunts, and fundraising to benefit Relay for Life and the fight against cancer. Avatars, clothing, furnishings, gadgets, goodies and exclusive items are available from top SL fantasy creators, including Fantavatar and Moonstruck, Evie’s Closet, Fallen Gods, Mer Betta, Sassy Kitty, and many many more!

This nine sim event is bringing together such fantasy genres as fairy, elven, magic, mermaid, goth, demon, vamp, neko, tiny, sci-fi, and more! FCC’s goal in 2010 is to raise $15,000 US dollars for RFL of SL. The Fantasy Faire 2010 will also offer visitors an opportunity to celebrate the survivors of cancer, remember and honor loved ones lost, and to fight back with the American Cancer Society.

Check out our amazing Sponsor and Creator list!

You can view some of last year’s beautiful sims on Youtube, featuring our great environments and creators from Fantasy Faire 2009, shot by the talented kypta Spitteler and also a fantastic interview of Zander Greene our creative director, showing scenes from across all the sims as he is interviewed to Life On Line and discusses the background to the Faire.

To join us this year, just search for “Fantasy Faire Central” on the map - open to the public 19th-25th April, 2010.

As with all events this size, there will be lag. We have done our best to keep it as low as we can, but we’ll also need your help. Be considerate of your fellow shopkeepers and keep prims and bling in your pocket and turn off your AOs and other scripted HUDs and you will find the going easier for yourself. Low prim clothes are available at each teleport point so that you can show your support for The Relay for Life and help everything run smoother. *Plus* our secret Fairy Godmother will be dropping *fabulous* prizes on people with really low avatar render cost and scripts for doing such a great job at keeping the lag down.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The Fantasy Faire 2010 is produced by Friends Fighting Cancer, one of the Featured Designer Teams at last year’s Relay for Life of Second Life. FFC is an international team of people who have been involved with the RFL of SL for the past three years and is committed to helping the American Cancer Society reach this year’s goal of $300,000 US dollars.

Since its inception in 2005, the RFL of SL has grown in both attendance and fundraising. With almost $275,000 US dollars raised last year RFL of SL has become the largest fundraising event in the virtual world.

The Fantasy Faire 2010 is made possible by the generous support of Sim and Event Sponsors Fondazione Connell Project, Evie's Closet, Fairy Unique Designs (FUD), Fallen Gods Inc., Mer Betta, Moonstruck, Sassi Kitty Designs, The Arcanum and Media Sponsor, Treet TV.

Particle-Parachute Jump at “The Pocket” for RFL

Particle artist Tyrehl Byk has recently gotten together with Musician Maximillion Kleene and the staff at “The Pocket” club. The people have planned a unique event in Second Life, one that makes the use of their noted talents. They’ve given it a somewhat long name: the “Maximillion/Tyrehl Phantasmagora Particle Parachute Jump/Show/Stunt for Relay for Life.”

Delinda Dyressen, whom is among the staff at The Pocket, promises it will be “the biggest ever mass particle jump in Second Life history!”

At the location at 8 PM SL time, Tyrehl will perform the particle show that he’s gotten raves for. After the show, free “particle parachutes” will be passed around. Then the participants will jump and drop down “in a glorious mass of particle-ized parachutes,” and after pulling the ripcords float down to the dance club (which has had a bulls-eye whimsically painted onto the deck), where Maximillion Kleene will be playing. Relay for Life Kiosks will be set up around the place.

Delinda suggests that those interested try to show up a little early, “The Pocket and Freestar Bay Island are not responsible for anyone who forgets to pull the cord. On the other hand, Max and Tyrehl ... well you can talk to their lawyers.”

The Little Dove RFL Steamclub Opens

The Southern Colorado sim is noted for being a location for Relay for Life events, notably Hope Gardens. It now has a new place to hold events. On Monday March 5th at 4PM SL time, Club Little Dove held it’s Grand Opening.

Club Little Dove’s creation is due to one lady: Nydia Tungsten. She constructed the club in four levels, with the top level originally a pilothouse, but later changed to a landing field. The place was designed with a Steampunk look (for those unfamiliar with the term, think H.G. Wells and Jules Verne). There were features such as the main dance floor showing turning gears underneath, 19th century dials and huge lightbulbs making up much of the equipment, carved wood and stained glass making up much of the walls and furnishings, the occasional steam-age gadget or vehicle, a few hookahs around the place (the Victorian-Era had a libertarian view on drugs, and in some ways encouraged their use), and others.

The official name of the club is Her Majesty’s Airship Little Dove, or HMAS Little Dove. Club Little Dove is named after a former resident in Second Life, who sadly passed away last year. She was the real-life partner of a close friend of Nydia's, “she was devastated.” Nydia saw the naming of the club in her honor as, “just the right thing to do.” Nydia is part of the "Passionate Redheads" Relay group, but says the club is open to all RFL groups.

On Monday, the club was up and ready for it’s opening event,Relay for Life’s Daaneth Kivioq sending out an invite, “Commodore Tungsten invites you aboard the HMAS Little Dove, now flying high above Hope Gardens in the beautiful Colorado Sim! We will be celebrating the Grand Opening of this new venue with a Steampunk Ball. Music will be provided by two of SL's finest DJ's - Dusk Griswold from 4PM to 6PM, and the Commodore herself, Nydia Tungsten from 6PM to 8PM. All Proceeds from this event will go to benefit the American Cancer Society. Please join the Passionate Redheads as we launch the HMAS on her maiden flight!”

And so after 4PM SL time, the dance floor was soon full of men and women, both normal human and furred avatars, dancing away. There were no tip jars out. There was only the Relay for Life kiosk, which people chipped into. Although the theme of the party was Steampunk, which called for Victorian fashion, the music as thoroughly modern with a variety of music from the 70’s to today. “Rocky Mountain High” got a few chuckles, “Appropriate that we play this song, as we’re in the Southern Colorado sim.”

And of course, “I Run For Life” played as well. It played twice, the second time near the end, with Nydia calling out, “I run for life ! I run for Little Dove! I run for Fimi! I run for my Stepfather! Run for them all, and remember them all!”

Club LIttle Dove is in the Southern Colorado sim at (187, 37, 1002). During it’s construction, it’s location changed from where it began.

The RFL Luskwood Bennefit Concert and RFL Cross-Country Race

The Clothing Fair was not the only event for Relay for Life on Saturday, March 20th. There were others, among them a concert and a race. That afternoon, there was a benefit concert in Luskwood, and there was a cross-sim snail race.

At 12 Noon SL time, Luskwood held a concert for charity, to take in donations for the Relay. The event was held at the stage near the Great Tree.

From noon to 2:00 PM, come join us to listen to the awesome musical stylings of Frogg Marlowe and Jaycatt Nico for an hour, followed by the excellent voice of Alessandra Eberlain and her wide variety of songs for another hour. And, of course, don't forget to donate!

For the first hour, Jaycatt & Frogg performed for the audience. Jaycatt played the piano, while Frogg sang and strummed his guitar. At 1 PM, Alessandra took to the stage, her voice filling the airwaves. Lomgren Smalls and Daaneth Kivioq, whom helped organize the event were there, as was one of the Luskwood founders, Michi Lumnin.

“Thank you Daaneth, Lomgren, for putting this all together. ... My Grandfather died of lung cancer.” “Lom did all the work.” “Please help us fight against Evil! Please donate to the Kiosk in front of the stage! CANCER CAN BE BEATEN!!!”

At 2 PM SL time was the start of the Relay for Life Giant Racing Snail Cross-Country Race. The giant snail races are held regularly in Second Life every week by RacerX Gullwing. Usually, the snails are decorated to whatever the rider wants, and are held on a course. This time, the shells had to have large RFL signs on the sides, and the race would be held though a long stretch of road on the mainland, through over forty sims.

Thirty-six racers took part in the race. It took only a few minutes for lag to break up the line of snails, and the track went through towns, forrest, went over bridges, looked at by more then a few curious onlookers, went by places such as the Berlin’s Museum of Art, and more. After about forty minutes, Tindallia Soothsayer was the first to reach the end of the course, “thanks to lag and the last turn.” She had somehow avoided a bout of lag that slowed everyone else, and beat the next snail by over a minute. Following the race, a replay was shown in another sim for the racers and others.

The next RFL snail race will take part through sixty sims.

This Years Relay for Life Video here in Second Life, is going to reflect on the community spirit and passion, of SL Residents, towards such causes as this!

Compassionate Redheads Win 2009 Spirit of Relay Award

On August 1st, it was announced that the Relay For Life team Compassionate Redheads had won the 2009 Spirit of Relay Award. Daaneth Kivioq passed the word to the team, saying they had drawn attention, “for their dedication to the fight, and their willingness to pitch in and help other teams.”

Other teammates expressed pride, “Out of a thousand teams, we came out on top!”

The award itself is on display at the dance floor of Hope Gardens in the Southern Colorado sim at (162, 33, 26). There was also a copy on display at the Cutlass club. On August 15th from 5 to 9 PM SL time, also at Southern Colorado, the Redheads plan for a big party to celebrate their win and efforts in Relay for Life to raise money in SL for cancer research.

The night before the award was announced, at 11 PM on July 31st, there was one last party in the Relay for Life track, a “Blingtard and Destructomania” party. At the Babbage Team’s Mars exhibit, Redheads and possibly people from other teams either dropped or wore objects that filled the air with particles, notably a red rose that filled the air with little hearts. Some then announced it was this moment they were finally taking down their exhibits by “blowing them up.” Others were a little reluctant to take them down, preferring that they stay up in the remaining time the track is up. Lomgren for one left his "Really Wild West" standing, so other Redheads simply blew up items of their own at his exhibit while the place itself remained intact. There were also fireworks going off on places around the track.

Taking one more walk around the place with a friend, this reporter found much empty space where there was once exhibits, but many were still standing. The fireworks were still launching in the air in a couple areas. Word has it they will remain until Monday, a week after the lease had ran out.

Relay for Life Music Event

Sat-Sun, July 18-19

RFL weekend covered 37 sims with multiple events and stages on four of them. Performers played from 2pm on the 18th through 10 am on the 19th. The list of performers is quite long, but some of the musicians showing their support included Quinton Whitman, ELiz Watanabe, Scarletta Roux, Shannon Oherlihy, Tone Uriza, Kim Seifert, Dominick Manatiso, Mike00 Carnell, Mason Thorne, Steely DeCosta, Dann Numbers and Buckley Moonwall, to name just a few. I was approached by the lovely Ms. Bourque Rau to put my hosting talents to work for an hour segment, and I hosted Tone Uriza.

I arrived early to catch Nad Gough on the Entertainment Bay Fest sim. Nad performed tunes by Burt Bacharach and Cole Porter, and sang with a voice and style that reminded me of Johnny Cash. Although he didn't quite pull off the Johnny Cash imitation, it was all for a good cause.

At 6 SLT, Mr. Blues himself, Tone Uriza, took the stage at RFL Shire and entertained us for an hour with soft, sweet blues. Tone chose to support RFL because of his mother's experience with cancer, and he can be found at many of the RFL events throughout the season. In speaking to the crowd about the experience with his Mom, his emotion nearly got the best of him, but he continued his performance with style and grace. Tony Uribe aka Tone Uriza is a 29 year veteran of the Tucson, Arizona blues scene. He has developed an eclectic style of blues drawing from the traditional & contemporary blues styles of the last century. He covers other blues artist only with the intent of bringing more blues and it's rich history to the world. An ambassador if you will, Tone loves spreading the blues wherever he can.

Following Tone was Kim Seifert, who opened with one of my favorite Alannis Morrisette's tunes. She sang beautifully with a resonant voice with a Southern lilt. Very nice indeed. Look for Kim in events, she is worth a listen.

At 7 pm it was back to Enterainment Bay Fest for Steely DeCosta. Always a treat, Streely is a great show to relax to, a very soothing sound and great guitar solos.
A guitarist from Kentucky, he plays a variety of covers, including CSNY, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Ben Harper, James Morrison, Firefall, Jason Mraz, U2. Benny King, Eagles, Plain White and Sam Cooke. He also does original jams with a loop station and prerecordings.

Steely was followed by Buckley Moonwall at 8 pm. Buckley plays harmonica and acoustic guitar with a southern flair. He plays a blend of roots-rock, Americana, folk and blues. Buckley is always a pleasure to see. Make a point of checking him out .

Sunday, July 19th
7 am SLT

Dann Numbers performed at Entertainment Bay Fest. A great entertainer in his own right, Dann can often be heard on the IndieSpectrum stream [http://81.169.149.182:8016 (SL Artists Music)]. Dann is reportedly very shy at first, you would never know it when he takes the stage. He gives an awesome performance. At one point, he broke his G string (again!) and while fixing it, he did a song for us a capella. Who needs guitar??
Next up on stage was Soundcircel Flanagan, who played a mix of covers and original songs, with accompanying backing tracks recorded in his studio. He opened with a Michael Jackson tribute, playing several songs from his Thriller album. Sound does a completely electronic set and has a great sound.
CelticMaidenWarrior Lancaster performed at 9 a.m. SLT on the An Inema sim at Long Journey. What a cool place it was! The stage was a giant mushroom and smaller mushrooms were scattered about providing seating. I have had the pleasure of hearing Celtic numerous times and always thoroughly enjoy her. Celtic has a beautiful voice, loves her audience and is prone to giggling. She is a great performer to kick back and relax too. This was a perfect fit for a Sunday morning.
I split my time between Celtic and Mike00 Carnell so as to take in as much as possible. Mike performed at the RFL Courage sim at Buckshot Bend. He has played guitar for 18 years and has been performing in a RL band called Jazzmanix. He plays a Fender Strat USA Deluxe, as well as acoustic guitar. In addition to some original tunes, he plays classic and soft rock covers from The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd and Jack Johnson, to name a few.

The weekend event was successful in its fundraising, raising over 270,000. Congrats and applause to the Relay Teams for their untiring efforts to raise funds to support cancer research and the families of cancer victims.

2009 Event Activities

Below are listed the Activities available

for your enjoyment during the 24 hours of the 2009 Relay For Life event.
This is your opportunity to relax after 4 months of hard work in your
teams to raise the critically needed funds to support the American Cancer
Society this year as we continue to care for cancer victims, educate
society about cancer prevention, detection, and treatment, and support
the many families and caregivers of those with these diseases.

Theme Laps!

First and most importantly, walk, jog, skate, or otherwise traverse
the track as it wanders through the many sims that make up this year’s
Relay. Each lap from the starting lap for Survivors and Caregivers to
the Teams Lap at the end has a designated Theme. The theme changes each
hour. Check this website as well as the signs along the track to know
the theme for each hour. This year’s Theme Laps Coordinator is Arizona
Ballinger!

Scavenger Hunt!

Next, while walking, jogging, or otherwise doing your laps, participate
in the SCAVENGER HUNT. Hidden in each sim along the track is a clue
with a question related to Cancer. Find the clue, answer the question
correctly, and get a prize! You may even learn a few things you didn’t
know about various cancers along the way. Each question has 4 responses
and you get 4 tries to answer it correctly, so keep trying till you
get it right. You will then receive clues about the location of the
next hidden question along the way. Scavenger Hunt Coordinators are
Empress May Rosebud and Dr Ren Stonecutter!

Sailing!

Last year’s winner of the most inventive campsite award, the vibrant
Sailing Community of Second Life invites you to come and sail with us.
Join us for a Marathon Sail for Life. Skippers needed, crew needed,
come make a difference on the water. All skill levels needed. Want to
learn to sail? Sailors will be there to help. Already an experienced
skipper? Hot Laps (awards in all classes of boats) are for you. A massive
Charity Auction will feature all things nautical , including one-of-a-kind
items. Don’t miss it! Coordinator and Team Captain for Sailing is
Nber Medici!

Fishing!

You know a diet healthy in fish is good for preventing cancer, so come
catch your virtual dinner. Design has set up a beautiful area for fishing
in our Water Sailing and Fishing sim. Visit the vendor on the dock,
buy the supplies you need and fish! You may even amaze yourself with
what you catch and the stories are good for a year about the one that
got away! All proceeds go towards the Relay total, and it’s FUN too!
This year’s Master Fisherman and activity coordinator is Sweegy Manilow!

Medieval Myths and Mysteries!

Journey back in time to the Middle Ages and to a world of Myth and Legend.
Visit the RFL Activities Sim dedicated to the largest Fantasy Group
in SL, the Communities of the Elves! Visit a grassy grove surrounded
by age-old trees with a healing circle and fire in the center. Hear
the sounds of Nature or contribute your own sound to the mystical beat

power of the Universe. Participate in a Medieval archery tournament
and put an arrow into your favorite tumor! Prizes from the Empress Herself
for winners! Coordinators are Duchess Bee Blessed and Empress May Rosebud.

The American Frontier!

Visit the other half of the RFL Activities Sim and step back into America’s
past. Attend a Native American PowWow as you hear the music and see
the dance for healing from our Native American Brethren and Sisters
in SL! Attend an old-fashioned Rodeo and participate in a barrel race
or ride Black Bart the Bull (if you dare)! Make a donation to RFL at
the vendor and buy a horse that you can use in the barrel race or the
sod-bustin Horse Race for a neat prize to the winner! Check back with
this website for times of the races! Coordinators and a doctor to patch
you up are Bryan Damask and Dr Ren Stonecutter.

Tour-de-France in SL!

A NEW Activity this year, this bicycle tour will take you through an
entire RFL Activities Sim built to re-create the rolling French countryside,
a picturesque town, and a mountain road like those made famous by 7-time
international cyclist winner and CANCER SURVIVOR Lance Armstrong! Be
part of the Spirit of Relay and ride your way to Victory over Cancer!
Coordinators are the entire Activities Committee for RFLSL 2009!

Art Exhibit!

Another NEW Activity for this year, this exhibit features some of the
incredible art and artists who are creating unique pieces to honor and
memorialize the survivors, the caregivers, the victims, and the fight
against cancer itself. It is our intent to have these pieces scattered
in various sims along the track and in the campsites of those teams
that wish to participate in the exhibit. Coordinator for the Exhibit
and for the Memorial to Our Friends who lost their fight to this disease
is Mike Burleigh!

Mammography Demonstration!

For the first time ever in RFLSL we have a virtual mammography site
available for avatars to receive virtual mammograms from a real physician
in SL using equipment donated by the Ann Myers Medical Center. Come
see how it works and learn how simple, safe, and important it is to
have this test done regularly in real! Ride the roller coasters and
learn more about breast cancer too! Coordinator is Dr Vera Zhaoying.

Silent Auction!

Many wonderful items will be auctioned on Relay Day. View them and submit
your bids! If you have something you would like to see auctioned, contact
one of the coordinators or any member of the Activities Committee. Remember
that all proceeds go to this year’s Relay for Life! Coordinators are
Webgoddess Mars and Glenna Lane.

RFL Star Trek Party for Charity

By Bixyl Shuftan

On Sunday May 24 at 11 AM SL time, a Star Trek themed party was held for charity. The event was held by the Relay for Life group Relay Wizards, with all Lindens raised going to cancer research. Around the place were various things to do. One could watch a movie (“Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home”). One could grab a free uniform and Klingon translator. Trek uniforms were not requested attire, but the majority wore them anyway.

One could look at an exhibit of an “original series” starship bridge, with some various Trek foods on a counter. One could dance to the music provided by DJs, Natasiaa Nightfire from 11 AM to 1:30 PM SL time, and Jameslarken Supply after 1:30 PM.

But the most visible attraction, and the most fun for the majority of visitors, were the kissing booths. They were manned by various Second Life celebrities, getting the name “SLeberty Kissing Booths.”

Among the noted people at the booths were Hamlet Au, Pooky Amsterdam, and SecondLie Scribe. And numerous people, human and otherwise, went up to give the brave redshirts and science officers smooches for charity. One booth had a Klingon guy, “Can you human females survive a kiss from a Klingon?” And there was no shortage of ladies trying, even if he did forget to gargle with mouthwash after his lunch of raw meat.

And yes, a certain reporter got into the act. Guess the ladies just love a “foxy guy.” ;-)

The party was organized by Amber DeCuir, Haley Saloman, and Shawna Montgomery., and was held at the Chatrez sim at (96, 31, 24) in the Tiny Empires Kingdom of Avalon.

PAINT SECOND LIFE PURPLE

Second Life – On June 1st, AVs, parcels and sims will be awash in purple, thanks to efforts by volunteers from the American Cancer Society’s “Relay For Life”. Throughout Second Life, people desiring to show their support for those fighting cancer will take part in painting SL purple.

We’re using the power of purple to show support to cancer survivors, their caregivers; and to mobilize the community of Second Life,” said Fayandria Foley of Second Life. “Paint Second Life Purple Day is a time to celebrate those facing and fighting cancer and to show them they are not alone. This is a way everyone can support the fight against cancer, without costing even one linden. It’s not about the money – though that is very important – it’s about showing our support.”

The Volunteers of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Second Life invites EVERYONE to join the fun and to spread hope in Second Life. Whether you are a sim - owner, a club owner, or a retail business owner, there is a way for you to participate in painting Second Life purple on June 1:

• Decorate your parcel or sim with a purple display.
• Hold a contest for Best in / of Purple.
• Display a purple yard sign in your front yard.
• Decorate your front entrance, your fence, or your door with purple.
• Wear purple clothing.
• Turn your town landmarks purple.

June 1st, join us in painting SL purple to show YOUR support of all who are fighting cancer.
